Ice Makers Limited - Kingston, Jamaica

10 lb Tube Ice — Ice Makers

Our signature 10 lb bag of commercial tube ice, produced fresh daily at our Downtown Kingston facility from reverse-osmosis purified water.

Tube ice is cylindrical with a hollow centre, and that shape is what makes it the preferred choice for the drinks trade. It has less surface area than cube or crushed ice, so it melts noticeably slower, keeping drinks colder for longer without watering them down. The slow-freeze process produces ice that is clear rather than cloudy, and the individual tubes stay loose in the bag instead of freezing into one solid block — so it pours cleanly every time.

Perfect for coolers and chillers, chilling bottles and cans, bar service, restaurant use, parties, and keeping fish, meat and produce fresh.

How much do you need? As a guide, allow about 1 lb of ice per person for a few hours, or 2 lb per person for a full day in the heat. A single 10 lb bag will chill roughly a case of drinks in a cooler.

Available for collection at 26 Hanover Street, Downtown Kingston, or delivered across the island. Bulk and pallet quantities available at wholesale rates — ask about standing weekly accounts for bars, restaurants, hotels, caterers and market vendors.
