JASMEF - New Kingston

JASMEF is a Private Equity fund committed to providing Caribbean SMEs with access to growth capital and technical assistance in order to help them increase business growth, productivity, job creation, exports, and their environmental, social and governance (ESG) standards. The fund, made possible by the World Bank-Jamaica Access to Finance for MSMEs Project, covers Jamaica and other member states of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) such as Antigua and Barbuda, The Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Montserrat, Saint Lucia, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname, and Trinidad and Tobago, as well as the Dominican Republic and Dutch Caribbean. JASMEF was chosen by the Development Bank of Jamaica in partnership with the World Bank for this SME private equity fund, following a global contest.
