A manufacturing operation in South West St Thomas has the following vacancy:

Production Machine Operators

Maximize productivity in the Operation of Production Machines and equipment to meet or exceed targets

• Assist with care and upkeep of production equipment by regular cleaning and light maintenance after each production shift.

• Adhere to all established production/maintenance programs and practices including activity and equipment logs.

• Promptly report breakdowns/subpar performance on all equipment towards maximizing productivity

• Assist with troubleshooting machine issues and contributing innovative ideas to improve work flow

• Willingness to work on shifts and weekends when necessary.

• Promote safety and team spirit within the work environment

Level 2 Certification or higher in Mechanical maintenance or similar field

• Industry experience would be an asset but not mandatory

• Unquestionable integrity

• Creative thinker who is knowledgeable about machines and handy with tools

• Emotionally intelligent with good interpersonal skills
