Job vacancy Janitor (CATERERS IN MOTION LIMITED)

JM, Kingston

• Responsible for keeping the workspace clean, organized and disinfected.

Responsibilities

• Clean interior and Exterior (if required) of buildings including floors windows walls.
• Disinfect commonly used areas eg: Refrigerator handles, Door handles, towel dispenser, guard rail etc.
• Empty trash, clean and recycle bin.
• Sweep and wipe floor.
• Wash Pots and Pans
• Clean and maintain rest room
• Wash and clean windows.
• Notify supervisor of unsafe condition.
• Clean Kitchen hood
• Daily tasting of meals in all area of the kitchen
• Perform any other functions assigned or that maybe necessary from time to time

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS

• Reports to: Floor Supervisor

SAFETY & SECURITY

• To utilize, when required, all safety equipment and gear that have been provided.
• To adhere to all safety and security regulations specified by the management of Industrial Catering Services.
• To report any breach of security to the Operations Manager.
• To take necessary precautions to ensure the safety and Security of personnel and equipment for the company.
• To immediately report any accident that occurs during the course of duty, and to complete the required documentation.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

• The incumbent is required to work in hot and cold areas and to stand for long periods.

• Safety and hygiene standards are maintained to the required standard.

CONTACTS

• Internally with: Manager, Operations Manager, Accountant, Accounting Staff, Procurement Manager and all ICS kitchen staff.
• Externally with: CIM customers

Must be Loyal, honesty reflecting integrity
A valid food handler’s permit
