• Mother’s Enterprises Ltd has an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified Production Supervisor with responsibility for its manufacturing plant. The successful candidate will be a flexible, innovative, and performance-driven individual, who displays effective team building and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensures products are made to documented specifications.
• Manages yield of products as per company’s yield expectations.
• Trains staff in assigned areas in use of equipment and the production processes.
• Recommends measures to improve production methods, yields, equipment performance and quality of product.
• Deputises for Production Manager in his absence.
• Ensures that all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPS) and safety requirements are followed by production team members.
• Interacts with all other departments of the organization.
• Ensures accuracy of transactions with the Warehouse and Purchasing department.
• Ascertains and verifies inventory balances for all areas of responsibility.
• Interprets company policies to workers and enforce all required regulations.

Skills
Sound knowledge of Production Operations
Excellent Problem Solving Skills
Flexible and able to multitask
Ability to motivate team members and get results in a fast paced environment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Willingness to work on weekends, public holidays and late shifts
