  • As a General Insurance Underwriter, you will play a crucial role in meeting the diverse underwriting needs of our clients, encompassing motor, property, and small business insurance. This position offers an opportunity to apply your expertise in underwriting principles to assess risk and provide tailored insurance solutions to our clients.


Responsibilities
  • Assess and evaluate insurance applications to determine coverage, terms, and premiums for various general insurance products, including motor, property, and small business insurance.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their specific insurance needs and provide expert guidance and recommendations accordingly.
  • Utilize underwriting guidelines and risk assessment tools to accurately evaluate and price insurance policies while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of underwriting decisions and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues to facilitate smooth processing of insurance applications.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes to inform underwriting decisions and enhance the quality of service provided to clients.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients, addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests in a timely and professional manner.


Skills
Working knowledge of the EPIC Insurance program is considered an asset, though not mandatory
